It's tough for Australia to achieve unprecedented feats.

The top summits have long been mastered.

This is the team that has secured seven Cricket World Cups, along with an additional six T20 titles, and previously enjoyed 1,294 days unbeaten in 50-over cricket.

The secondary achievements, those for the peak baggers, are what's still available for a side that has won it all.

The fact it required until Sunday's success by three wickets over India for them to complete their first ODI chase over 300, reclaiming their record for the biggest in the women's 50-over format, is, frankly, a compliment to the pitchers that have sported the yellow jersey over the last half-century.

It's challenging for their batters to hold a record if not provided the chance.

Some will argue the reasoning behind championship match pressure. Different voices suggest with the challenge that comes when facing a record target and a raucous India-supporting crowd of 20,000.

What is certain is this hundred was much more difficult to anticipate.

The Christchurch destruction in 2022 came as she led the batting statistics, but this knock was preceded by six games in India from the beginning of the previous month in which she had failed to pass 30.

"If you've been watching me in practice sessions, it has been a frustrating experience because it seemed my form was missing whatsoever," said Healy.

By the time she was dismissed Australia required another 66 at a run-a-ball - an unconquered height now needing a comfortable finish.

"Chasing 330 runs is unfamiliar ground so I am glad we have the assurance to achieve that now," continued Healy.

"Ideally we won't need to do it again but, should it happen, we are confident we can do it."

That comment will be the last rival teams at this championship want to hear.

In recent days a feeling they will win from any position has grown stronger - this victory coming after success over Pakistan by 107 runs despite struggling at 76-7 at one stage.

Following this Australia face Bangladesh before an encounter with longtime competitors England in Indore in 10 days, by which point a semi-final place may probably be guaranteed.
